Tae Kwon-Do at Work
The Top 5 Reasons to Provide Your Employees With Martial Arts Training:
It is a fact! Healthy people are more productive than unhealthy people. The Martial Arts at the Tae Kwon Do School of Excellence is the perfect activity because it blends an equal balance of physical conditioning as well as mental conditioning. Not only does Tae Kwon Do utilize all muscles in the body, but the drills challenge the employee’s mind resulting in heightened focus and concentration-both of which have a deep impact on workers productivity.
Give Your Employees the Ability of Self Defence
The Tae Kwon Do School of Excellence teaches two types of self defence. First, you will learn how to use your arms and legs to generate an amazing amount of power. Learning how to properly utilize your strength, agility and power is a key component of our programme (see the self defense section below for more information).
Improve Employee Morale
In today’s work place employee morale is at an all time low. Workers deal with downsizing, “right sizing”, benefit cuts, and an unstable work environment. Employers that are dedicated to retaining the talent in their companies must provide employees with reasons to want to stay. Because the average student takes 4 years to earn a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, this programme can be another reason for your employees to stay at your company. Not only does the employee benefit from the training in the martial arts, but they become happier, more productive and more loyal!
Improve Relationships With-in Your Company
Our classes are taught in a group setting where the only hierarchy that exists is one of belt rank. It is possible (and highly likely) that the CEO of your company won’t be the highest ranking student. By breaking the typical structure the employees will have the opportunity to take classes and learn together – an amazing method of improving staff relations at all levels in your company!
Get Employees to Want to Come to Work
In addition to all of the great benefits of martial arts training this is something they will look forward to – they will want to come to work. Not only will workers call in sick less frequently, but they will feel better, have increased self-discipline, and become more productive.
